Personal Symbols:The museum's collection of personal symbols include those items used to represent beliefs, preferences, achievements, or status. The collection includes political buttons, awards, medals and pins representing organizations of many types from political associations to military regiments. These include military medals from all major wars in which Louisianians participated, especially those of the famous Washington Artillery.
